$10 Million Company Launches New Division To Capitalize On Expertise

TAMPA – April 15, 2008 – Garry Simpson, founder of the area’s premier air conditioning contractor, Simpson Mechanical, announces the launch of the company’s new branded residential division, Simpson Air. 

For Simpson, a $10 million a year sales and service company, the move coincides with its plan to fuel growth by expanding HVAC-related services to homeowners throughout the region. 

“Since 1999, we’ve installed thousands of air systems with our commercial and new home partners,” states Simpson.  “An efficient air system, regardless if it’s a repair or change out, is only as good as the knowledge the technician uses to maximize the technology.  Since few do this like Simpson, we’re confident that our retail division will be very successful.”

Simpson notes that while the company has performed some retail services on a limited basis, the newly branded division’s full attention will be to expand the company’s residential services throughout Tampa Bay. “We believe there are significant growth opportunities in this market,” states Simpson.

One of those opportunities is Simpson’s new retail division, Simpson Air.  Effectively immediately, the company will begin marketing the division and its repair, maintenance and product replacement services to area homeowners.  

Simpson notes that the timing is right to launch this division.

“We’re adapting to market needs.  Reports indicate that homeowners are staying in their current homes longer. While our existing business-to-business contract work remains constant, the market potential of helping an owner of older home upgrade their unit or make an existing system more efficient is climbing.

Since the company’s launch in 1999 with two employees, Simpson has steadily grown into one of Tampa’s premier HVAC companies.  By 2003, the company totaled 22 employees and $4 million in sales.  Currently, Simpson produces $10 million in sales through the 42 employees it houses in its 8,200 SF facility on Nebraska Avenue, Tampa.
