Our triple protection air filters have approximately 1.5 inches of filtering layers.This design means our filters capture large particles in the first layer and then capture progressively smaller particles in the remaining two layers.  It works like this:

Layer 1: Large denier fibers create an open weave to catch large particles.

Layer 2: Medium denier fibers trap the medium-sized particles.

Layer 3: Small denier fibers trap the tiny respirable particles. A tackifier attached to the bottom of the filter keeps these small particles from escaping back into the air.

What’s more, Simpson triple protection air filters last twice as long, on average, than typical single ply air filters you find at the hardware store. Because our filters have three layers, they capture much more debris than single-ply filters do. You won’t have to replace these filters as frequently as single-ply filters, which saves you money.
